Avocado is pleased to announce that we will be attending the AWS RE:Invent 2016 running from 28 November – 2 December. This year it will be hosted at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas! We are sending our Senior Consultant and cloud lead, Carl Durrant, to soak in the latest developments of the industry.
This year’s schedule is as jam packed as ever, with opportunities to learn and meet industry experts. We will be indulging in over 400 technical sessions, Bootcamps, Hackathons, a Gameday and a Security Jam – and that’s just for starters. The Global Partner Summit is providing information updates to arm our team as an AWS APN Partner with topics such as driving increased revenue with AWS and how APN can expand businesses.
As if one conference wasn’t enough the AWS team has broken up the main conference into a series of mini cons this year. They will focus on specific areas such as Big Data, Containers, IOT, Machine Learning, Serverless Computing and Security – these will allow us to immerse deeper and spend more time in the specific verticals of interest to us and you.
The yearly conference is opened with the anticipated Keynote session in which there are always a number of insights and new releases within the AWS ecosystem. Avocado sees this as a powerful opportunity to view the industry trends and discuss with peers.
Don’t worry, although it’s too late to get your ticket, Avocado will be regularly posting Twitter updates and blogging about the event from our perspective on the latest developments in cloud and related tech.
