Hi, my name is Zac Bannon,

In my new role at Avocado, I have joined the Managed Services Team as a graduate consultant. I was drawn to this career path due to my enduring fascination with digital security and a strong commitment to the values of Observability and Security. Avocado presented a fantastic opportunity to apply these principles professionally.

My strength lies in problem-solving, a skill that has proven invaluable in this role. I find great satisfaction in designing, understanding, and optimising systems in complex environments. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a major in Cyber Security from the University of Wollongong. Additionally, I gained practical experience in an IT Support role within the private education sector during my studies.

What excites me most about this new role is the opportunity to work on some of the world’s largest integrated systems. Looking ahead, I aspire to establish myself in the Cyber Security field, a goal I’ve nurtured for nearly a decade.

For aspiring graduates seeking to join Avocado, my advice is simple: passion is paramount. If you genuinely enjoy designing, tinkering, and problem-solving, you will thrive at Avocado.
